Microgrid deployments can range from commercial building to campus and up to utility distribution systems.� Common use cases range from the need to provide essential services during emergency scenarios to business requirements to utilize green energy sources and to provide uninterruptible service to customers.� Power quality considerations range from aspects of improved continuity of power to considerations of frequency management, short circuit capacity, and load shedding.� Mr. Mueller will outline some of the most common use cases for the utilization of microgrids, and he will also provide insight into some of the important power quality considerations.
